About Swiss Day Out
Family days out, without the planning headache.
Swiss Day Out helps families find realistic day-out ideas based on where you start, who is coming, how long you want to be out, and what facilities you need.
Why we built it
Planning a family day out often means checking travel time, prices, opening hours, toilets, baby changing, food options, weather, dogs, parking and whether the visit is actually worth the effort.
We're a family in Estavayer-le-Lac — one child, two dogs — and we built Swiss Day Out after too many weekends spent checking the same details ourselves.
Swiss Day Out brings those details together so families can make a quicker decision.
The problem
Too many tabs, too many checks.
The goal
A faster way to decide where to go.
What makes Swiss Day Out different
Realistic travel time
See how long the journey really takes from your starting point, by car, public transport, bike or on foot.
Family-friendly filters
Filter by prams, toilets, dogs, child ages and the practical details that matter on the day.
Curated Swiss places
Each suggestion is checked for useful family information, not just scraped listings.
Useful with children
Visit length, facilities and timing hints help you judge whether a place fits your day.
Expanding across Switzerland
Swiss Day Out launches region by region so coverage stays practical, curated and well checked.
Built for early access
Swiss Day Out is still growing. Feedback helps decide what comes next.
