Walk the Aare Gorge galleries, then ride the historic funicular to Reichenbach Falls — Sherlock Holmes country.

Allow 2–3 hours for the gorge; add time for Reichenbach Falls funicular combo. West entrance 3 Apr–1 Nov 2026; east entrance 9 May–1 Nov. Meiringen–Innertkirchen train to Aareschlucht West or Ost. SBB online offers (10% entry combo; June 30% entry; July up to 50% off train tickets) — not sold at gorge ticket offices. Narrow pushchairs and light wheelchairs OK from west entrance to mid-gorge. Restaurant with playground at west; bistro terrace at east.
