What to expect

Medieval lakeside castle on Lake Geneva — dungeons, halls and lake views minutes from Montreux.

Curator note

Allow 2½–3 hours. Buy tickets online when possible. SBB stop Veytaux-Chillon, 4-minute walk. Prams cannot go on visitor trails — use a baby carrier; changing tables in the cafeteria toilets.
