What to expect
A narrow limestone gorge with galleries, waterfalls and spray — a classic Bernese Oberland family walk.
Curator note
Allow 1–1½ hours for the gorge loop. Seasonal opening mid-May to mid-October (shorter October hours). PostAuto stop Rosenlaui, Gletscherschlucht is one minute from the entrance. Not pram- or wheelchair-friendly — secure galleries and steps. Dogs welcome free. Valley parking CHF 8/day (CHF 4 after noon). Combine with Meiringen–Grindelwald bus scenery or Haslital walks.
